These are some of the palm trees that grow by the seeps at the base of the sandstone cliffs. They are found between Hartman's Tanks and Red Bluff Springs. This is truly an oasis in the desert. You have to hike over from the coral in mud wash now because of a "temporary closure" put in place by the BLM. However in all my travels with in our public lands I have never seen a temporary closure opened, only become a permanent closure.
