Sandstone Stream

This is a shot of the rain water running down the sandstone wash at Buffington Pockets. This picture was taken right before the petro-glyphs above the dam. The water had receded quite a bit by the time we had got there but there was still a good stream running down. It looked like the water had actually run over the dam a Buffington. Have I mentioned that i love the desert.

Valley of Fire II

Here are a couple more shots from around town and one of my traveling partner. She helps me find the good places to take pictures. The picture of the sign was kind of an interesting one to get. I was just pulling off the freeway, rolled down the window, leaned out, and shot it(this time not with a gun though). I think the car behind me was kind of getting nervous. However the lighting on the mountains and the sunset couldn't be passed up.

Valley of Fire

Allie and I made a little trip out to the Valley of Fire today. It was a fun trip, however there were more people there today than i think I have ever seen collectively in the past. But it has been a while since I have been there in the day time. We had to wait here at the Cabins for about 20 minutes until we could get a chance to take pictures. By the time we had it to our selves it was almost too dark to shoot. Either way we had a fun trip.
